Rob Cook was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in the nearby town of Granville, Ohio.  He attended Marietta College, University of Cincinnati, The Ohio State University, and graduated from Capital University. 

After graduating he obtained his Ohio Real Estate License and worked in the family owned real estate company, Heart of Ohio Properties, Inc.  He also worked for Household Finance selling and processing personal and mortgage loans.

Rob graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2001 where he was actively involved in the Student Bar Association, Moot Court, and served as a justice on the Honor Court.

After passing the bar in July of 2001 he went to work for Vernis & Bowling of the Florida Keys P.A. where he gained experience in personal injury law, insurance defense, civil litigation, government law, copyright infringement, probate, land use law, and general civil litigation.  In July of 2006 Rob moved up to St. Augustine and opened Rob Cook, Attorney at Law, P.A.
